CASS Governance Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

Main Purpose of the Role

The CASS Governance Manager will report to the Senior Client Asset and Governance Manager. They will be responsible for supervising the CASS Governance function within CIS, to ensure that CIS events and processes are designed and conducted in a CASS compliant manner and employees have received the appropriate level of training.
The role involves advising CIS business units on CASS related matter, and if appropriate, help implement improvements. Tasks that will be undertaken by the CASS Governance Manager; supervise the CASS Governance team, review and Sign Off CASS policies, central contact for business advice on CASS matters, work with central training team on CASS training content and conduct regular regulatory health checks.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the CASS Governance Function, allocating work and monitoring the performance of allocated staff to ensure work is carried out efficiently and effectively.

* Develop, coach and mentor junior members of the team
* Review and Sign off CIS CASS Policies, ensuring they remain complete and fit for purpose;
* Provide specialist advisory support to internal clients on a daily basis to ensure that there is no misalignment between policy and practice.
* Review and Sign off of the content for CASS e-learning and class room based learning to ensure that the training being delivered is up to date and relevant for the audience;
* Conduct CASS health checks across the business to ensure full regulatory understanding
* Provide monthly MI to the Senior Client Assets manager on a monthly basis of activities completed by the team to demonstrate all objectives are being met.


Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies
* University Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
* Working towards Professional Qualifications
* Experience of CASS Compliance
* Good knowledge of operational processes within financial services
* Sound understanding of UK Regulations (particularly CASS)
* Experience in Training and delivering business advice.
